The challenge

Nestlé came to Headlines with the brief to create a 48-page commemorative book in celebration of their 150-year anniversary. Given to 8,000 colleagues, the book was part of a Christmas gift.

What we did

Headlines created a book that will be a lasting memento of Nestlé’s milestone year for its employees in the UK and Ireland. It focused on key events from the company’s history and heritage and profiled the business as it is today, through colleagues’ stories.

The outcome

Dan McLoughlin, internal communications at Nestlé, said:

“Headlines brought clarity to what we wanted to achieve, shaped ideas and remained consistently upbeat.

“After 150 years, the company is so diverse in terms of the people in it and our business structure. To bring it together with one narrative was a big challenge, but the finished product shows the depth of our history and the breadth of what we do, highlighted by great stories and testimonials from our people.

“It will be used, enjoyed and read for many years to come, to help people who want to understand the wider company and what they are part of. It was a great piece of work!”
