Catch up: the Headlines office warming party
It is very subdued in the Headlines office today, as everyone is feeling fatigued following our networking event yesterday.
We had a wonderful time and met lots of fantastic people from around the local area – so big thanks to everyone that attended.

Co-MD Peter H (me) said some things about our agency. Here’s a few snippets:
Our past has been about effective comms to two audience groups – employees and members – as we move into our 24th year we will deepen our services to clients to offer customer-facing content and visual identity/brand consultancy.
Our ethos as an agency is a lack of pretension, and a focus on simplicity. We won’t blind our customers with agency speak and nonsense, and our response to your brief will always centre on achieving your objectives and delivering a return on investment.
We pride ourselves on finding the golden nugget of information that your audience or readers must absolutely absorb and take away with them when they engage with your content, then creating the big ideas and selecting the right channels necessary to amplify that information to maximum effect.
We had two workshops: one on design do’s and don’ts and the other on the importance of a strong tone of voice for all businesses and making sure it is used properly in all communications.
We had balloons.
It was a party so, of course, we had goody bags.
After the event, we all went to Biergarten for drinks and mingling. A wonderful way to end a Monday! Although the Ocktoberfest beer was 6.0% strength, so we couldn’t have too many!
