IC Exchange brings UK’s leading communicators together in London
More than 100 of the UK's leading internal communications experts came together for a day of discussion and debate at the first ever IC Exchange in London.
The event on October 18 was hosted by internal communications agency Headlines together with Dutch IC consultancy firm Involve, at The Grange Hotel in Tower Hill.
Speakers included Gabe Winn, Director of Internal Communications at Centrica Energy, Justine Stevenson, Change Communication Specialist at Deutsche Bank, and James Harding, Head of Internal Communications at the UK Border Agency.
Headlines managing director Peter Doherty said: "We staged the event because so many of our own clients had expressed a wish to meet up and share ideas and experiences with fellow IC professionals.
"We invited key members of the IC community representing most of the UK's leading companies and the turnout was remarkable. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive and there was a strong desire to maintain the momentum and make IC Exchange a recurring feature.
"We are looking at how we can best take it forward as a social networking hub for the IC community, with more activity now planned including a LinkedIn group and further events."
